NASA Flag Book (2024)
Continuing the space flag book theme, I took another set of NASA postcard images (this time of mostly telescope photographs and colorized images) for this. Made during aa workshop with Maria Veronica San Martin at the NYC Center for Book Arts.
I think the ways you can experience photos of space and the ways you can think about a flag book — page by page, an open concertina, a presentation, a specific experience — work so well together, plus the full flag with the colorful nebulae and galaxy photographs is pretty cool.
