Custom Book Case
In a week-long workshop with Barbara Mauriello, I spent some of the time building this custom case for an old copy of Henry James’ Washington Square. Bookbinding always makes me want to experiment with new prints and patterns — both papers struck me immediately and were sort of surprise choices. This piece took a lot of focus on exact measurements (distances, really) and being extra extra careful, and as a result the case and fit for the book are very exciting. (I also think these colors are great.)
