Queens Houses Crown Book (2025)

Throughout my bookbinding I’ve found Hedi Kyle and Ulla Warchol’s book The Art of the Fold to be a great inspiration. The Crown Book structure they describe in this book, which can be filled with accordion pages or single-page folios, was a perfect housing for a series of pochoir prints I’ve been working on inspired by the book All the Queens Houses, a photographic survey of housing in the borough of Queens.

These are mostly fun progress-pictures, pictures of the final product coming soon. Covers and structure are black elephant hide paper from TALAS.
